Willie is the Chief Investment Officer of Encina Capital Partners. Prior to his involvement at Encina, he worked at GE for 34 years, where he was an officer. In his most recent role Willie was Chief Risk Officer at GE Capital, Americas where he led the risk management function for a $50B portfolio of leases and loans across six businesses and three countries. In addition, he was Chairman of the Enterprise Risk Management Committee. Prior to that he held a variety of other risk and leadership roles at GE Capital, including CEO of Corporate Lending.

Willie began his career in GE’s Financial Management Program, and upon graduation he was selected to work on GE’s Corporate Audit Staff. He holds a B.B.A. from Wilfrid Laurier University.
